Hey, how come we all avoid the scraps, i think they're a more honest expression of an artist style and a chance to reverse-engineer the process, sooooo, give the scraps a chance people. [link] Hey, i look at yours

another great work :]
:iconsan-kie:
are those pagoda's too? I'm just so used to imagining the burmese kind, the one's that are round and covered with gold leaflets.
:iconallysharp86:
The architectural form known as a 'pagoda' originated in China. It is a chinese interpretation of the Indian "stupa," a buddhist structure. The Pagoda utilized the elements of the stupa that represent the teachings of the buddha and combine them with an indigenous chinese form, the watchtower (with its multi-storied roof held on by dou-gong brackets). This is a pagoda, it looks like the source image was most likely the pagoda at ryoanji, the oldest wooden structure in the world.

If a pagoda is round, it is not 'technically' a pagoda, but probably a stupa. Pagodas are a chinese form, which migrated to japan later on.
